Help 1 year old Charlie find A Bone Marrow Donor.
Help 1 year old Charlie find A Bone Marrow Donor.
Brave Charlie is just one year old and has been diagnosed with Myeloid Leukaemia. He has already undergone a high dose of Chemotherapy at Birmingham Children’s Hospital which ended last month and sadly has failed to work which has led to the disease reappearing.
Charlies parents, Joey & Fiona, have been told that unless they find a matching Bone marrow Donor they will have to stop his chemotherapy treatment within 3 months as there is only so much chemo he can have.
Joey has put out an urgent plea on Facebook for people to join up to the Anthony Nolan Blood Donor Charity and join their donor register to help Charlie and many other children who are in similar positions.
You can join up Here:
Anthony Nolan Blood Donor Charity
Joey is a personal friend of mine and he and Fiona were in Worcester Royal Hospital last year having Charlie while i was in visiting Donna. It would mean alot to us if you could share this note on your walls and to as many people as you could and try and get as many people to sign up to the Anthony Nolan Blood Donor Charity as possible.
